Snappy Birthday!

Here's another card I am going to have at my March workshop. I used the set Crab and Company (retired Stampin' Up). The clouds were made the top of the Big Bold Cupcake die from Stampin' Up and then embossed with a Cuddlebug embossing folder. This card involved a bit of cutting, but I think it turned out cute. Thanks for looking!

Happy Birthday, Cupcake!

I found this glitter paper pack from My Mind's Eye (it was half off at Hobby Lobby). I love these colors together. I used the Big Bold Cupcake sizzlet dies from Stampin' Up. After I cut the cupcakes, I embossed them with Cuddlebug embossing folders and sponged over the edges. The large scallop circle and inner circle were made with punches from Marvy. The ribbon is from Stampin' Up.

Don't Feel So Hot?

Here is another get well card I was working on (and it will be available at my Stamp-a-Stack workshop on Friday, March 12). I haven't used this set in a while. It is called "Happy Healing" (retired Stampin' Up). I used the scallop square die cut (Stampin' Up) for the card base and an embossing folder for the background on the card front. The inside sentiment reads "Hope you are back to your cool self soon".

Caught a Bug!

I was working on some get well cards and came across this stamp (that I forgot about)! This stamp is actually a cube stamp with the four stamps around the sides. The nine square grid is an old background stamp that I have had for a while. (I don't have company names for either of these - they have worn off!) They must be "loved" stamps!

Drink Carrier Gift

Here is a little birthday treat for my teaching partner that I made last week. I used a "take out - drink carrier" and decorated it with school paper. Then I filled it with some "teacher stuff"! (the mascara was a joke! just in case she forgot to put it on in the morning!)(again!)

Happy Valentine's Day

Here were some Valentine Jelly-Bellies I gave to my teaching friends Friday at school. This stamp was from My Sentiments Exactly. All other products are from Stampin' Up.

Valentine Treat Cups

Valentine's day is right around the corner and I thought I should get these card samples posted! This card was made with the new "Sweet Heart" set from Stampin' Up. The heart punch is the perfect size to cut out the center and add the heart treat cup. I put a chocolate heart candy in the middle. I used the jumbo wheel "Spunky Spots" from Stampin' Up for the background. I really like the colors tempting turquoise and really red together this year for Valentine colors. This card is very simple. Just tie some red polka dot ribbon and add a sentiment to finish the card. TFL!

Knock, Knock!

I decided to make these little Knock,Knock! joke books for my students for Valentines day. I found this idea on the site papertreyink.com; at the very bottom of the site is a link for her blog. She posts a lot of different projects and templates. You can find the template for these jokes on her blog. The books measure about 4 1/4 x 2 1/4. You get ten jokes on an 8 1/2 x 11 piece of paper. I just cut them apart and used the crop-a-dile punch to punch through all the pieces of the book at once and then put a valentine brad to hold them together. I just decorated the fronts in a variety of designs (I think I will let my students pick the one they like). I think I will be hearing knock, knock jokes for a while, but I think they will get a kick out of these! TFL!

Valentines

Here is a Valentine card I will be offering at my Stamp-A-Stack on Friday night. (If you live in the Grand Rapids area and would like to come and stamp, shoot me an email!) I used the new set I {Heart} Hearts (Stampin' Up). I used the punch heart to heart (also Stampin' Up). It made this card quick and simple.
