Fall Sparkle
Here are some cards I worked on for fall. I found these sparkly leaves (by Jolee) at Michael's. I thought they would be the right size for the tree from Season of Friendship (Stampin' Up). They are actually much more sparkly and glittery in person - these pictures don't really show it. I made a few with the sentiment, a few "thinking of you" and one without leaves on the tree, just on the ground. If you look closely, the "thinking of you" one has extra gems on it. I think that is the one I like the best.

Cricut Cupcake
These cards were made with the cricut cartridge "Sweet Treats". I was playing around with some bright colors for this first birthday card. I don't really love this combination of colors, so I went back to the drawing board and tried again using these colors, pink and brown. I think I like this one better. The sentiment is from Savvy Stamps.

Happy Birthday!
This is the card I made for my best friend's birthday. I made it to coordinate with the box (filled with stamping and scrapping stuff!). The other part of her gift was a metal memory board (with the magnetic "memory" sentiment). The stamp set I used for the card is "Birthday Invitation" from Close to my Heart. I loved the bright colors in this gift and thought it was perfect for "back to school" time, since she is a teacher. I found the birthday box from Target, the Metal board is from Hallmark, and all the fun supplies in the box are from Custom Crops (except the Fashion citations note pad - that I found at a small specialty shop in the mall called Francesca's.)

It's Fall!
Well, fall has arrived in Michigan and it has been nice to have cool weather to start the new school year! So what to do on a cold, rainy Saturday? Make cards of course! For this card I used a new Cricut cartridge I recently got called "Create a Critter". Isn't this owl cute? So I needed cuter paper to go with it! The paper I used is "Walk in the Park" by Echo Park Paper Co. (I actually bought the kit collection; it came with 12 x 12 paper, sticker alphabets, boarders and tags). I found this pack in Ludington at a local scrapbook store. Not a lot involved in this card (the Cricut did most of the work!); a little sponging, a few detail lines around the outside edge of owl and that's it!

Back to School Time
This was the "Back to School" gift I made for my friend Sherry. After teaching Kindergarten for the past 23 years, she is moving up to First Grade this year, so I wanted to make her a little something to set on her desk. I found the cute little green basket at Michael's. I added a mini clipboard, some "school" monkey cards and some little mechanical pencils tied together. The tag was made with one of the new Papertrey Ink sets (School Time).
