Vintage Graduation Cards
With my youngest daughter nearing graduation this year, I decided I better stock up on some graduation cards for all her friends. She really loves vintage things, so I tried a few cards with a vintage flair. I started with an old dictionary (that was falling apart). As a matter of fact, it is so old that it even has yellowed edges. I used several Glimmer Mists (Tattered Angels) to stain the pages. I also used some paper doilies and sprayed them with Glimmer Mist. I used a few Prima flowers and the other flowers I made out of crepe paper. The stamps I used included the large cling stamp by Hero Arts called "Time to Stamp". (Love that one, I think I will be able to use it for a lot of different projects!) The large graduation stamp is from TPC Studio called "Class Act". The smaller graduation hat and the tassel sentiment is from Stampin' Up. The graduation sentiment stamp is from Paper Inspirations. The glitter flourish stickers are from KI Memories.

Mom's Diner
This is the last chipboard album I made this week(but hopefully not my last one ever!) The paper and stickers were a kit I found at Hobby Lobby. I cut my own chipboard pages. I made the pages 4x9 and attached them together with binder rings. This kit also came with matching recipe cards. I just love this retro vintage look. This is really big right now. I still have another recipe kit I found at Hobby Lobby to put together and I have an idea for a "chocolate" recipe album as well. I plan to be busy, busy, busy this weekend!

10 Things I Love about being in the Kitchen
This is the second recipe album I made. These would be great gifts for Mother's Day. This is made the same way as the album I posted yesterday (same chipboard pages from Maya Road and embellishments from Little Yellow Bicycle). These pages are a little more vintage and distressed looking than the first one.

Standing Recipe Album
For the next couple days, I have a few recipe albums to show you. This album is part of a kit from Maya Road. I say part, because the kit came with 9 chipboard pages which is 18 pages front and back, an acrylic stand and three rings. After I decorated five of the pages, I tried to put it together on the acrylic stand to see how it would look and it did not fit well on the stand; actually it became too heavy for the stand and tipped over. Instead of attaching it to the frame, I have the album resting on the stand. The recipe cards, pockets and envelopes are embellishments from "Little Yellow Bicycle". I have two more recipe albums to post later this week.

Easter Peeps
Getting ready for Easter and had to get out my cute little bunny peeps stamp from Savvy Stamps. I usually find these cute little stamps at conventions I go to, but they do have a website (www.savvystamps.com). The paper used in these cards came from an Easter paper pack I found on clearance at Target a few years ago. It was huge and I still have some left (it came with a ton of 12x12 paper, 5x7 cardstock pieces, and some die cut borders). I didn't realize what a great deal it was! The paper is also great for baby cards because the only paper that is actually easter is the pink rectangle behind the bunnies (it is hard to see, but it has easter words printed lightly in the background). The paper doilies were left over from a school project I did with my students. And again, look at these darling stick pins from My Little Yellow Bicycle. I also added some Prima flowers at the last minute with little pearl centers. I ususally don't add stuff like this, but now I love them. It seems to add the final touch. Hope you like these cards and thanks for stopping by!

Spring Blossoms
Here is another spring card, unfortunately, it is not very spring like here in Michigan. It is actually a cold, rainy, dreary day. But good for crafting (and napping!) Supplies used for this card include the new set "Easter Blossoms" (Stampin' Up Spring mini catalog), pink pirouette and early espresso cardstock, the new Tulip Frame embossing folder (Stampin' Up Spring mini catalog), a white gel pen and the oval scallop and wide oval punches (Stampin' Up). The white satin ribbon and the mini pearls are from Michaels. At least when I look at this card, I feel like spring is here! Thanks for looking!

Hello Spring!
I am on spring break from school and have been busy creating! I love getting up in the morning, having my coffee in my studio and then getting to "creating time"! Here are a few cards I made for my next card club swap (I think!) It is still two weeks away, and I might come up with a different idea by then! The chicks are made using the bird punch from Stampin' Up and then trimming the tail off. The frame on the blue card is the new embossing folder, also from Stampin' Up. The pattern paper is from the Wild Saffron collection from K&Company. The flowers are from the set "Fun Filled" (retired Stampin' Up) and the sentiment is from the set "Hello Spring (retired Stampin' Up). And don't you just love the leaf stick pin! It just adds the final touch to these cards. I found these at my local scrapbooking store. They are by My Little Yellow Bicycle. I have another set of these I am excited to show you in some upcoming projects. Well, off to creating time. Thanks for stopping by!
