Heart Warmers
I found this idea through Pinterest. I was looking for a unique Valentine for my students and I thought these would be perfect. They didn't take me long at all. I found these "like" cashmere scarfs at Goodwill on clearance for $2.49. I was able to get 9 hearts from each scarf. I didn't have to turn inside out to stitch, because they didn't fray. I filled them with rice and added a little tag with directions. My students held them all day!! I think they were a success!

Valentine Owl
Here is a picture of my first "sweater owl" I made. I had been on the Pinterest site and saw some cute things you could make from old sweaters. Most of the things were made from "felted" wool, but it was hard to find actual 100% wool sweaters at Goodwill. They must all get "bought up" for projects. So I bought some regular sweaters (go with ex-large, you get more sweater to work with). I found this pattern on the internet. I think is turned out only semi-cute! But being my first one... oh well. I put it in my "store" area to sell $5.00 and it sold in just a few days (with the cards). I have made a few more. I will post those pictures next. I think the felted wool would be much cuter, I will be on the look out for pure wool.

Chocolate Valentines
I thought it would be fun to decorate some chocolate candy bars for Valentines. I used some extra embellishments, decorative paper and ribbon I had laying around. Great way to use up some "left-overs".

Matchbook Valentines
These make darling little Valentine's. These are little "matchbook" note pads. I found these through a site called "Vippies" (I think!). They were fun and easy to decorate. I used a lot of my "left-overs" to decorate these.
(Owl stamp is from Close To My Heart, Just for You is from Stampin' Up and the lace heart is decorative paper from Authentique)
Pink Bingo
Have you ever heard the story Elmer the Patchwork Elephant? Well if you have, this is what this cards reminds me of. I cut out these cute little elephants from the Cricut cartridge Birthday Bash. I found the vintage bingo cards at a resale shop and sprayed them in the color "S.W.A.K". pink Glimmer Mist by Tattered Angels. I only added a half doily, a flower and a sentiment (from Stampin' Up). Super easy! Thanks for stopping by.
