Cupcakes
I was working on a few birthday cards and wanted to try out a cupcake set I got at JoAnn's. They are clear stamps by Inkadinkado. The cupcakes are cute, but I wasn't really happy with the way the card turned out. I don't think I like the striped paper - maybe it is too busy. The saying at the bottom sort of gets lost. The sentiment stamp is from Savvy stamps. The sentiment is very intricate and was a little difficult to work with, it kept getting "blobbed up"!
The next two cupcake cards I liked a little better. This set is Figures of Speech (Stampin Up). The polka dot paper is from the Target dollar spot. (You never know what you are going to find there!) The ribbon is from Hobby Lobby (on sale for $1.00 - they run that sale every few weeks it seems). The sentiment is from the clear stamps cupcake set.
