This is one of Stampin' Up's new single stamps called For You Flower. It coordinates with the new Fancy Flower Punch. I love these colors together, Only Orange (retired) and Melon Mambo. Again I used pattern paper from the glitter stack Summer Song (My Mind's Eye). Ribbon is from Hobby Lobby.

Live Your Dream

Here are some more cards I made using the Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists. I started with a white cardstock base and embossed the flowers in white (flowers from stamp set Live Your Dream from Stampin' Up). I then used glimmer mists over the embossed flowers. For the pink one, I used Pink Bubblegum, Coffee Shop and some Gold. For the blue card, I used Moonlight and Frost. I finished off the card with some of my wrinkled ribbon. The pink ribbon is hand-dyed to match. The black ribbon came in black and then I made it into wrinkle ribbon. I love dyeing the ribbon to match my cards. (Let me know if you are interested in seeing how I do that.) Well, it is probably time for me to think about packing for CHA! I am so excited to be able to go to this super craft show (to shop). I have been dreaming of this for over a year (I wanted to go last year, but it was in Orlando, Florida. This year it is back in Chicago! Much closer!) I am anxious to see how it compares to some of the other conventions I have been to (like Novi). I will definitely post pictures.

Baby Things

My cousins daughter had her baby shower this past weekend (she is having a girl). Here are a few things I made for her and put in a basket. I had a photo album, a paperbag scrapbook, a notebook and matching cards (and of course a little stuffed animal/blankie). I used coordinating paper called Studio K (from K & Company). I used my cricut to make the words "BABY" and I used my bigshot to make the felt flowers. This was all "stuff" I had laying around my "craft studio". I love using these things up! I feel productive! Hope she liked it! I'm off to my sudio for some creating time!

Classic Birthday

This is a new set from Stampin' Up called "To A Classic". I always need more masculine birthday cards, so I had to get this set. I used pattern paper from "The Natural Stack" from DCWV and a little "stickles" for a little sparkle.

New Owl Punch

Love this new owl punch from Stampin' Up! It is pretty quick and easy to use. The small circles for the eyes are sort of a pain because they are so small, but otherwise it is pretty straight forward. I used a woodgrain pattern paper. Stampin' Up also has a woodgrain background stamp which is very neat too, but I had this paper and decided to use it. I love the red and brown together (Ridinghood Red cardstock is back with Stampin' Up, but the ridinghood red ribbon is retired). The sentiment stamp is from Endless Creations. The oval scallop and oval punch are from Marvy.

Poppy Cupcakes

The new in color "Poppy Parade" (Stampin' Up) matches my carnival tickets perfectly, so I had to try it out. I used Chocolate Chip along with the Poppy Parade and the cupcakes are from the set "The More the Merrier" (retired Stampin' Up). This was a very simple card, I used an embossing folder for the background and added chocolate chip grosgrain ribbon. I found the fun stick pin labels (Tim Holtz) at a local scrapbook store in Ludington, perfect to hold the carnival ticket, which I stamped with a birthday greeting.

Trendy Trees

Here is a card I offered at my last workshop. Don't you just love these colors together? I used Yo-Yo Yellow, Pumpking Pie and Pink Passion (all Stampin' Up). Very summery! The stamp set is "Trendy Trees" (Stampin' Up) and the designer paper is from the Summer Song paper pack (My Mind's Eye). The ribbon is "Certainly Celery" (Stampin' Up). Not much more to say about this card, just quick and easy.

Create from a Kit

I'm always on the look out for these kind of cards.  They are so easy to create from.  By using a few tools and supplies from your sta...
