Chubby Bunny

I found this bunny idea on line (can't remember where - sorry). It was a very tedious card with so many little pieces, but it turned out cute. It is a small card so it will fit in an envelope (because the ears stick up). On top of the card is the top note die (cut down a little bit). The rest of the card is made with punches.

Classic Convertibles

Here is the "classic" set I said I would show a few days ago on my blog. I don't really care for these colors, but I guess it makes a good masculine card. (I was acutally trying to use up some paper I wasn't too fond of). Someone suggested that this card would be cute done in pink, of course anything done in pink is cute! I made the sentiment "You're not old, your classic" on my computer. The stamp set is "Classic Convertibles" (retired Stampin' Up). I stamped the car in soft suede and then colored it in with "not quite navy" chalk (all Stampin' Up).

More Butterflies

For this card, all supplies are Stampin' Up. I again used the "Butterflies embosslit", the "in colors", Dusty Durango and Crushed Curry, designer pattern paper Crushed Curry, the matching Crushed Curry grosgrain ribbon, and stamp set "Think Happy Thoughts". (oops, I lied, the glitter glue is not Stampin' Up, it's Stickles and I think the color is copper). Very simple card to put together. Thanks for stopping by.

Butterfly Embosslit

Here's a card I made with the butterfly embosslit from Stampin' Up. A little bit of designer pattern paper and a different kind of fold helps make this simple card a little more elegant. This card will be available at my next Stamp-a-Stack Friday, March 12.

I needed a few "thank you" cards and was going through some of my old sets to see what I haven't used in a while. This set is "Thanks from the Heart" (retired Stampin' Up). Again, I used some of the new glitter paper I got from Hobby Lobby (My Minds Eye). Watch my blog for some more "classic" sets coming out of the closet! Dust off those stamps and use them! Thanks for stopping by!

Leprechaun Hat

A friend asked me if I could make St. Patrick's day invitations for her. I looked on Splitcoast for some ideas and saw a leprechaun hat bag and thought it would make a cute card, but there was no pattern. So I just made my own (the best I could). It took a few times to get the right size, but I think this is pretty close. I used Gable green cardstock (Stampin' Up) and sponged the same color ink around the edges. I used the square punches also from Stampin' Up to make the gold buckle. The small shamrock is just a stamp I have had around for years (it just happened to be the right size for this). Thanks for stopping by!
