Berry Best

Another "summery" card - Strawberries! The cute strawberry seed paper is Berrylicious from the Berry Patch series (Imaginisce). The plaid and gingham paper is from the Paper Studio. The strawberry stamp is from the set "Tart and Tangy", the sentiment is from the set "Fruity Phrases" (both retired Stampin' Up). The circle border stamp is from Endless Creations (they work perfectly with the Marvy punches), so no, I did not draw all of those little black dots! The strawberry has Crystal Effects (Stampin' Up) on it for extra shiny dimension. Thanks for stopping by!

Sweet Treat

Here's a fun summer card. Who doesn't love ice cream? I made two different sets of cards like this. The one showing has the sentiment "You're so sweet" from Gina K.'s set How Sweet It Is!. The other sentiment I used on these cards was "Here's the scoop..." from Darcie's. The ice cream cone is from the set "Perfect Party" (retired Stampin' Up). I love the yellow paper from My Mind's Eye (called Sun Kissed). It seemed like the perfect summer time paper, it reminded me of vintage summer. PS The smaller picture shows what my table looks like when I am assembling sets of cards.

Wash Day!

We will be using this Stampin' Up wheel (Wash Day - retired) to make some baby cards. This one was colored in with Copic markers (but Stampin' Up has basically the same colors). It is easy to customize this card for boy, girl or neutral just by changing the ribbon color. (I will have different color ribbon available at the workshop). The background was made with the swiss dots embossing folder. The hardest part is the coloring, otherwise a very quick and easy card!

Vintage Tickets

I found this roll of old vintage tickets and I thought they would be fun to use on some cards. The cardstock color is Blushing Bride (Stampin' Up)and the ink is Creamy Caramel (retired Stampin' Up). The flower stamp I used is from the set Nature's Secret and the background design is a large background stamp "Sanded" (both are retired Stampin' Up). I used orange polka dot ribbon (Hobby Lobby). The orange glitter is Distress Stickles (Ranger). It is a little different than the other stickles glitter I have used. This glitter glue does not fill in completely, it looks more distressed (hence the name!)

Pink Lemonade

Hey, everyone! Here's a "good ol' summertime" card! I made this card in two different color combos (red and yellow, pink and yellow). The regular lemonade packages were yellow with red on them and the pink lemonade package was pink with yellow. The set I used for the front of the card is "Good Ol' Summertime" (retired Stampin' Up). I stamped the image in black and colored it in using copic markers. The decorative border punch is by Fiskars. I made the sentiment on my computer (printed it out right on the cardstock and cut it to fit the card). I started out making this into a pocket card and then instead of attaching the sides, I just left it so it would open when you pulled on the front image. Thanks for stopping by!

Ahoy, There!

It's time for some stampin' fun! I haven't had a class/workshop in ages and now it's time to get back into it! I have two days set aside (Saturday, July 16 at 10:00 AM and Thursday, July 21 at 6:00 PM). I will be showing some of the upcoming projects over the next few days. Here is the first one, Ahoy, There. This card was made with a clear stamp set from the Cats Pajamas. The waves were made with a ruler (from Creative Memories) and the ink Bordering Blue (retired Stampin' Up). I stamped and cut out the whale from cardstock Not Quite Navy (Stampin' Up) and used an embossing folder for some extra dimension. The ribbon I used is seam binding/wrinkle ribbon (hand dyed). I added a little dazzling diamonds glitter (Stampin' Up) on the waves. A quick and easy card and the part I like is that there are several different sentiments to go along with the whale. If you live in the West Michigan area and are interested in Stamping some card projects, please let me know. Thanks for looking!

Beach Time!

Finally! Some nice, sunny weather! These cards are perfect for sending some summer time thoughts or invites! These were made with a stamp set I had put in my stamp sale (and it didn't sell). I pulled it out and started playing around with it. (I have been doing that lately, maybe I should just keep all these sets!) I used primary colors and the set "Fun in the Sun" (retired Stampin' Up). The cards are smaller than average (I was able to get more cards out of the cute pattern paper this way). The cards measure square 4 1/4 x 4 1/4. The small note pads are from Sam's Club (and were navy). I covered the fronts with paper and then decorated them to match the cards. It would make a cute gift together. Thanks for looking!

Flip Flop Notes

I found these note pads at a dollar store. I used a Stampin' Up wheel (Flip Flop) with black ink and then colored them in. A little glitter glue (stickles) and some wrinkled ribbon finish it up.

Flip Flop Album

This is an album I made at the Novi Scrapbooking convention. This is a unique album actually made out of a pair of flip flops (this was a kit at a "make and take" from the SEI booth). I added a few embellishments when I got home (ribbon and gems). Just a cute way to display summer pictures!

Create from a Kit

I'm always on the look out for these kind of cards.  They are so easy to create from.  By using a few tools and supplies from your sta...
