Vintage Flag

I love this vintage picture of the little girl with the flag. I found this picture and many more in an old reading book at the store Changing Thymes. I bought several of these old vintage reading books and am using the pictures to make cards. I am not sure if you can see in the picture, but I added glitter or Stickles to add some sparkle to these. I didn't want to change the vintage feel of these by making too many changes, I didn't even add a sentiment.

Red, White and Blue

Here are a few cards I made for my "4th of July" display at the store. Instead of more stars and stripes (which I love), I was looking for something more generic to add. I found this paper from The Paper Loft at the Novi convention. The flowers are from Prima (Hobby Lobby) and the ribbon is from Hobby Lobby. Off to make some cards with my friends. Thanks for looking! For those of you asking about the sentiments, they are from Stampin' Up (and are current). Thanks for asking!

The stamp is from My Favorite Things and I found it at the Novi scrapbooking convention last month. I stamped the school girl on the plain cardstock and again on the printed cardstock. I cut out the clothes and glued them on. I stamped it again with white ink on black paper and cut out the chalkboard. I stamped sentiments on the chalkboard. The rest of the girl and picture was colored with copic markers. I found the school ribbon at Hobby Lobby.
