Hoot Hoot Hooray

This owl birthday card was made using the set Owl Together Now (Stampin' Up) and designer paper (retired Stampin' Up). I colored the owl in with markers. Very simple!

Owl

Is it too soon for a fall card? Here in Michigan it has felt like fall all summer! This owl card was made using the set Just Celebrate (retired Stampin' Up). I made the background with a cuddlebug embossing folder. I then dragged a walnut color distressing ink pad (by Ranger) all over the top. The oval punch and the oval scallop are both from Marvy. I used watercolor pencils to color in the owl and added yellow glitter glue (Stickles) for the eyes. I used the word punch (Stampin' Up) to punch out the "thank you" sentiment (Endless Creations). The brown ribbon is from Stampin' Up.

Cricut Cupcake

I thought I had posted this cupcake, but couldn't find it recently on my blog, so I might have had intentions of posting this and didn't! (Story of my life!). I made this cupcake with the Cricut cartridge Doodlcharms. I cut the cupcake twice with two different pattern papers (just some I had laying around!). I then cut them apart; one for the base, one for the top. I added the candle. (The flame was a stamp I had - not Stampin' Up, source unkown). I added glitter to the flame. The "happy birthday" sentiment is Stampin' Up.

Cupcake Birthday

I used the set "The more, the merrier" (Stampin' Up Hostess) to make this card. It also shows the new "in" colors Melon Mambo and Crushed Curry. I first stamped the cupcakes and color every other one(they were too close together to punch right next to each other with the circle punch). The cupcakes were punched with the 1 1/4 inch punch, the brown was punched with the 1 3/8 inch punch. The card base is embossed with a cuttlebug folder. The white cardstock is cut with Fiskars decorative border punch. The polka dot ribbon is from Hobby Lobby. The sentiment is from Endless Creations.

Glitter Strawberry

Just trying to use up some of my glitte stack paper from JoAnn's. This cute paper has strawberries in the background, so I used the Tart and Tangy set (Stampin' Up). The circle scallop punch and long scallop punch are both from Stampin' Up. I had the gold wire out for a different card, so I used it on this one, too, to tie the strawberry onto the card.

Big Birthday Candle

These are some cards I made/designed earlier with some other demonstrators (at Connie's house - my upline). All supplies are Stampin' Up (except the glitter glue on the candle flame). The pattern paper is from the Kaleidescope designer pack. The stamp set is "Big Birthday Candle". The ribbon is the new polka dot grograin (the new in colors). TFL!

It's sort of hard to tell from this picture, but this card is done in gray and white. The pattern paper background is from Stampin' Up. The stamp is from the dollar spot at Michael's. The ribbon at the bottom is white satin with silver gems, it is also from Michael's. I stamped the wedding cake two times. I punched out the first one with the Marvy Scallop square punch and I used my paper piercer to pierce holes along the eddges. The second wedding cake, I cut out and popped it up on the first one. I added clear stickles to the cake. Very simple.

Butterflies

Here is a quick and easy card. I used some glitter pattern paper for the background (from a Glitter Stack paper pack). The butterflies are from the set Great Friend (Stampin' Up). I just stamped them, cut them out and popped them up on the paper. I added some gold wire for the antennae and a little glitter glue on their wings (to match the glitter paper). I finished it off with some organdy ribbon (Hobby Lobby).

"What's for lunch?"

These cards were a little tedious to make, but it was worth it. They turned out darling. I started with some pattern paper for the background (Wild Saffron from K&Company) and pattern paper for the picnic cloth (Bella Rose from Stampin' Up). The bear and raccoon are from the stamp set Under the Stars (Stampin' Up). The basket is from the set Basketful of Fun (retired Stampin' Up).

Tool Time

This card was made using the set Totally Tool (Stampin' Up). I stamped the tools and paper pieced them together. The corners were made with the Photo Corners punch (Stampin' Up). Not much more to say about this card - pretty straight forward. Thanks for stopping by!

Shape Cards

Wow! I am not sure even where to begin! I have been so busy this summer. And I just realized I never downloaded the pictures from my camera to my computer, so I have a lot of pictures to share. I have been spending a lot of time in Ludington this summer, so I have forgotten to keep up on my blog, so let's start with the most recent pictues and then see what else I have time for (before I set off again for Ludington again). Today I had an "impromptu" card class (and nine people showed up!). Here are a few designs from today. This was my favorite card (probably because of the teacher in me!). It was a favorite in class too. I made the apple card base using my cricut and the cartridge Doodlecharms. All of the colored pattern paper pieces are cut and piece together. The caterpillar/worm is from the set Bugs and Kisses (Stampin' Up). Another fun card was the old fashion telephone card. This card base was made using my cricut with the cartridge Wild Card. I stamped a greeting from Think Happy Thoughts (Stampin' Up) and then put a flower gem sticker in the center. I used a white gel pen to add some detail along the edges. And of course the wire phone card just added the last special touch. TFL and stop by again, I will try to post more this week.
