Watercolor butterfly
Well, where have I been?? Overwhelmed! With my daughter graduating in a week (and the party a few days later), the closing of our school (and all the packing along with the regular end of the school year "stuff"), having card classes, and going to the scrapbook convention...I don't know if I'm coming or going! The watercolor class was a success, this was one of the cards we made that night. We made five different projects and used several watercolor techniques. For this butterfly card, we used the watercolor crayons from Stampin' Up and the aqua pen to paint the butterfly and we brushed the aqua pen over the stamped "grass" to give it a softer look. The butterfly is from the Stampin' Up hostess set "God's Beauty". The "cat-tails" were made using the slot punch from Stampin' Up.
