Enjoy Buttons!

I love this set Enjoy Every Moment (Stampin' Up). It is great for cards and scrapbooking! I found this bag of fun buttons at a scrapbook store in Ludington, Michigan and fell in love with these colors. The buttons go well with Stampin' Up's colors Certainly Celery, Soft Sky, and Purely Pomegranate. The ribbon on this card is from Michaels. I made the scallop border on the side with big scallop scissors from Provocraft and a paper punch. TFL!

Tart and Tangy

Here are a few cards that were available to make during my card class last week. I love this set from Stampin' Up. (Wouldn't it be nice if it became available again in the new catalog?) The popsicle card was very popular (not orginal from me, I found the idea on Splitcoast!) This card would be cute in all colors! (Be sure not to try to punch through both layers of paper with your scallop punch - do one piece at a time, just line it up. You don't want to break your punch!) The sentiment on the popsicle card is from Saavy stamps, the senitment on the cherry card is from Fruit phrases (retired Stampin' Up), the sentiment on the strawberry card is unknown (sorry, I'm up at our trailer and don't have access to my "stuff" at this time - but wanted to post a few pictures!) The ribbon on the red cards is from Stampin' Up. TFL!

The Cricut Fairy!

The Cricut fairy has made an appearance at my house!! (Actually treasures from ebay! ) I got a really great deal on the Cricut Expressions along with two cartridges. I also bought the jukebox and the Cricut software. I have everything set up, but haven't had time to "play" yet! Hopefully sometime this week. Not only did I receive all this fun stuff, I received a package from my new friend Rosie in Colorado. She found a great deal on these Cricut cartridges and these cute dress notes/favor boxes. (I never find deals like this!) Thanks for thinking of me and sending me these great deals, Rosie! I can't wait to start creating!

Busy! Busy! Busy!

Wow! It was a very busy week! I had two card classes at my house this week and I did a Stampin' Up workshop for some new friends. So this is an appropriate card and sentiment for all my stamping friends this week! At my card classes I offered 18 different card designs for people to chose from. It was my first "Stamp A Stack". They could chose whichever designs to make and make as many of that design as they wanted. It's a great way to make a set of cards (for yourself or for a gift) especially if you don't own that stamp set. In the past when I have had card classes, I would usually only have 5-10 card designs and my friends would make just one of each card. This particular "Stamp A Stack" idea came from my friend (and upline) Connie in Ludington (only her "Stamp A Stack" classes offer about 250 different designs - she's crazy! It took me a week just to get the 18 different boxes ready!) Over the next few days I will post some of my card samples (a few of them are originals but most of them were cased!) Now about this card (I just love it!) It's fun and simple, just my style! This exclamation mark is made with the set Pick a Petal (Stampin' Up). I used the striped grosgrain ribbon from Stampin' Up (love that ribbon!) Just a cute and quick card. Check back to see some more samples from my classes! (Next class is in August if anyone is interested - I will post dates and times soon).

Pastel Bugs

I found these cute pastel post-it notes at the Target Dollar Spot (love that part of the store!). The challenge was to find colors to coordinate (that wasn't necessarily "baby"). I haven't used the "Ladybug Picnic" set (Stampin' Up) for a while, so I started playing around with this set and some pastel colors and this is what I came up with. I actually really liked how it turned out, so I made some matching cards to go with the magnetic post-it notes. (And of course, black polka dot ribbon is my favorite! It goes with everything!) The square scallop punch is from Marvy and the sentiment "a little bug told me..." is from Katiebug TFL!

enjoy the little things

Just a little ladybug card. I used the sets Pick A Petal and Enjoy Every Moment both from Stampin' Up. The card base is from a package of cards. TFL!

Good Coffee!

One of my most favorite things to do is sit and relax in the morning with my coffee! Sometimes I surf blogs, look at my craft magazines or just sit on my deck and enjoy the morning sun! For anyone who likes coffee, these cards are a perfect treat. Wouldn't they be even better with a Starbucks gift card in them??? I was talked into buying this stamp by my best friend (she listed all the possibilities for cute cards). I'm so glad I got it! The coffee mug and the saying are both from Morningstar Stamps. Enjoy!
